Welcome to the 7Hx blog! I'm Mike, the founder of 7Hx, and I'm excited to share the story behind our brand. It's a journey rooted in a simple desire: finding clothes that actually fit.
Who Am I?
A little about me—I’ve always been into style. But as someone who's on the shorter and leaner side, finding clothes that fit well has been a constant struggle: sleeves too long, pants that needed hemming, and shirts that just didn’t sit right. I figured I couldn't be the only one dealing with this issue. That’s when the idea for 7Hx started brewing.
The Spark of Inspiration
The concept for 7Hx came from my own frustrations with poorly fitting clothes. I thought, "Why settle for clothes that don't fit?" I wanted to create a brand that understands and celebrates our build.
Going Back to School
Even before I conceived 7Hx, I went back to school. I had a full-time job in the tech industry, but I was compelled to learn as much as I could about apparel construction and design. Balancing work and school was a challenge, but it was necessary. I needed the skills to bring 7Hx to life—to offer quality design and a perfect fit. I learned everything from design to pattern making to construction, focusing on the details that make a difference.
Building 7Hx
Today, 7Hx is dedicated to providing a great fit for men 5'9" and under. Our inaugural collection starts with pieces I know are sorely needed from personal experience—the Andy Joggers and the Hunter Jacket—all crafted with premium materials and designed specifically for shorter, slimmer frames. Our clothes are not just stylish but also comfortable and versatile for everyday wear.

This blog is a space for us to connect and share. We’ll be talking about stories from behind-the-scenes, updates on future collections, and maybe even style tips and stories from men (and women!) who inspire us. And with our upcoming Kickstarter launch, there's plenty of exciting news to come.
